Kitimat LNG Seeks Supply and Shipping Contracts

Kitimat LNG last week hosted representatives from international energy companies at a meeting to gauge interest in supply and shipping contracts for its proposed LNG terminal in British Columbia. According to Kitimat LNG president Rosemary Boulton, the company is attempting to stay ahead of competing proposals in the United States by soliciting partnerships with prospective suppliers and shippers even before Federal Environment minister Rona Ambrose has approved the project. Kitimat hopes to finalize agreements within the next 12 months. The Northern Sentinel has the details.
