FERC and USCG Await Additional Data on Broadwater

According to The Day,Broadwater Energy spokesperson Amy Kelley says the company’s plans to build an LNG terminal in Long Island Sound remain on course despite repeated requests from FERC and the U.S. Coast Guard for required designinformation. Kelley says that the company expects to submit the information sometime next month. Coast Guard Lt. Commander Alan Blume of Sector Long Island Sound told The Day that USCG had hoped to complete its Waterways Suitability Report a few weeks ago. The USCG letters Broadwater may be found in the Docket Management System in Docket No. 21863. FERC’s letters are available in the e-Library in Docket No. CP06-54. [Free registration necessary]
