BP and Galveston Wharves Board Appeal Decision in Pelican Island LNG Case

BP and the Galveston Wharves Board have joined the City of Galveston in appealing a court decision involving BP’s proposed Pelican Island LNG terminal in Texas. Attorneys for BP and the Wharves Board filed appeals last week challenging Judge John Ellisor’s ruling that certain aspects of a September 2004 meeting during which both parties ratified a lease agreement violated open meeting laws.
