BHP Billiton’s Cabrillo Port LNG terminal “should come before” Gov. Arnold Schwarzenneger by the end of 2006 for his decision under the Deepwater Port Act, according to California Resources Agency Undersecretary of Energy Affairs Joe Desmond. “I say ‘should’ because many of these projects have experienced delays at different times…but under the current information we have, we do expect a decision in 2006,” Desmond said at yesterday’s South East Asia Australia Offshore Conference in Darwin, Australia.
