As Quoddy Bay LNG submits resource reports required during the pre-filing phase of the FERC approval process, The Bangor Daily News reports that local activist group Save Passamaquoddy Bay is frustrated by federal rules that prevent the disclosure of certain sensitive or proprietary information. FERC spokesperson Tamara Young-Allen told the paper that FERC is in the process of reviewing whether the resource reports are complete, as well as whether the information has been properly categorized as protected. Quoddy Bay says in a press release that it may file its formal application to FERC in September 2006. [Access to archived articles requires a fee.]
