In a letter addressed to the California State Lands Commission, the Environmental Defense Center criticized the revised Draft Environmental Impact Report for BHP Billiton’s proposed Cabrillo Port LNG terminal. Arguing on behalf of the California Coastal Protection Network, the EDC said that the revised document failed to address all the “potential accident scenarios” involving the terminal, the terminal’s impact on navigation and whale migration, and non-LNG alternatives to the terminal.
