U.S LNG Imports Decrease in First Quarter of 2006

World Gas Intelligence today reports that U.S. LNG shipments have decreased by one-third compared to this time last year. The article attributes the decrease in imported volumes to an unseasonably warm winter, cargo diversions resulting from heavy demand in Asia and Europe, and difficulties at liquefaction facilities abroad.
