Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) says a proposal to site an LNG terminal on Outer Brewster Island is worth serious consideration and emphasizes the need for new energy supplies. “It holds some promise and potential, and it’s worthy of being thoroughly explored,” Kerry said in an interview with The Patriot Ledger. In an editorial published today, The Boston Herald agrees with Kerry, saying that the project has a “superior security profile” and will provide needed revenue to the State.
