Parties Stake Out Sides in California Offshore Terminal Debate

Nonetheless, BHP Billiton continues to conduct outreach in nearby communities to educate citizens about the benefits of offshore LNG. A spokeswoman for the company noted that “Liquefied gas is not coming to shore, only natural gas is.” Yesterday’s Ventura County Star has more on the BHP Billiton terminal and the other proposed offshore California LNG facilities.
