Mexican Official Says Chevron Is Undecided on Mexican Offshore LNG Project
Chevron Corp. has pushed back a final investment decision on its Isla Coronado LNG terminal project, according to Fernando Canales Clariond, Mexico’s secretary of energy. A Chevron spokesperson said the decision on the 1.4 Bcf/d project “will be made in concert with a supply project,” possibly the Gorgon Joint Venture in Australia, in which Chevron is a stakeholder.
