Canadian LNG Construction Progressing
The Daily Oil Bulletin reports that two Canadian LNG projects are making headway toward completion by Nov. 2008. Anadarko has obtained permits and begun construction on its Bear Head LNG project in Nova Scotia. Clearing and site work are also underway at Canaport in Saint John, New Brunswick. In 2005, both terminals signed transportation agreements with Maritimes and Northeast Pipeline for send-out of up to 1 Bcf/d each. The two projects have prompted the pipeline company to expand its existing pipeline facilities to provide capacity for this new supply. [Subscription required]
