WSJ Criticizes Efforts to Impede LNG Development
An editorial in today’s Wall Street Journal criticizes two Mass. politicians for inserting language in a federal transportation bill that prevents the demolition of the Brightman Street Bridge, an event which is necessary for tankers to reach the proposed Weaver’s Cove LNG terminal in Fall River, Mass. The newspaper says such efforts to impede LNG development are unsound in light of New England’s energy shortfall. [Subscription required]
