The Canadian Broadcasting Corporation reports that the U.S. Coast Guard is encouraging comments from Canadian residents as the agency explores safety and security issues pertaining to LNG terminals proposed for Passamaquoddy Bay. “We want to make sure we have the full picture and not just some half picture when siting a facility so close to Canada,” Coast Guard Capt. Steven Garrity said.
