Rehearing Yet To Issue for Weaver’s Cove
Yesterday’s Herald News reports that FERC has not yet issued a rehearing to address the agency’s order allowing Hess LNG to build a regasification terminal in Fall River, Mass., nor is it clear when they might schedule one. The city, along with the Rhode Island and Massachusetts attorneys general, filed a motion almost five months ago in opposition to the project. A FERC spokesperson said she did not know when the commissioners will render a decision, but that such a holdup is “not unusual.”
