Hess LNG Says Terminal Would Avert Gas Shortage

A spokesman for Hess LNG says the proposed Weaver’s Cove regasification facility would help thwart a natural gas shortfall that might occur if consumer demands increase and cause blackouts this winter season. While Mayor Edward M. Lambert Jr. acknowledges the need for more gas, he says it will not lessen his city’s opposition against the proposal. Read more in today’s Herald News.
