Gulf Coast LNG and Tractebel Sign MoU for Calhoun LNG Terminal
Yesterday’s Platts LNG Daily reports that Gulf Coast LNG and Tractebel Engineering have signed a memorandum of agreement allowing Tractebel to build the proposed 1 Bcf/d Calhoun LNG terminal in Port Lavaca, Texas. The project is already in the FERC regulatory review process and is scheduled to come online by 2010. Gulf Coast LNG is a partnership between Gulf Coast LNG and Haddington Energy Partners.
