In an op-ed published yesterday by The Daily Astorian, a Hammond, Ore. resident says that once an application for an LNG terminal proposal is filed with FERC, the Energy Policy Act of 2005 gives FERC the final say over the status of the application. “Warrenton loses control when the LNG application is filed,” he says. “Ask those citizens addressing the proposed LNG plant at Bradwood whom they are talking to. It is federal employees.”
