Long Beach, Calif. to Seek More Information on LNG Dangers

The City of Long Beach is expected to file a formal request for additional information regarding the threat a proposed LNG terminal may pose to public safety, health and infrastructure, according to Suzanne Frick, the city’s planning and building director. City Councilman Frank Colonna is urging state agencies to express any views by Thursday. “I fear that if you do not take action, it will become a reality for no other reason that because the people’s representatives failed to stop it,” Colonna said.
