Local Says Passamaquoddy Bay Can Accommodate LNG Terminals
A Robbinston, Maine resident says critics should avoid making preconceived notions about the purported dangers of LNG until final studies are released on the Passamaquoddy Bay terminals. In a counterpoint to an Nov. 26 op-ed published by the Bangor Daily News, he says that LNG is a clean-burning fuel that will not ruin Passamquoddy Bay. Additionally, he says that the tourists visiting certain parts of St. Andrews will not see the tankers make their way to the dock, which is three miles away.
